First graders enjoyed a snowball fight today!! The students balled up papers with tens and ones on them. When the teacher yells "snowball fight" they throw the fake snowballs. When she yells "stop" they pick up the nearest snowball and record the number of tens and ones. We had a blast!!

Lincoln first grade students carried on the tradition of reading the book "Balloons Over Broadway" and then making their own decorated balloons and parading them down the halls and through the kindergarten and preschool classrooms. The book tells the origin of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
