
Some 3rd graders enjoying what's left of the snow!!


Today we read about many different Chinese New Year traditions and customs. Then we had just enough time to make dancing dragons and learn how to eat with chopsticks.






On Friday, Mrs.Waun's students used their knowledge about equivalent fractions to create a hands on experience baking donuts!



Mrs Strode's class is having fun playing Fraction Memory while we are practicing finding equivalent fractions.








Mrs.Waun's class Friday rotations involved Lunar New Year, football, math games, and baking!







Ms. Avery took Mrs. Jacquinot's class and Mr. Medina's class on an African animal heart safari in science today.





Students in Mrs. Jacquinot's class made tissue paper hearts Friday, just in time to decorate the hall for Valentine's Day.





These two vikings met their second AR goal of 50 AR points. Way to go boys, keep up the great work!


World Read Aloud Day was such a success. The students loved listening to the fantastic stories that these readers presented. The class loved all of the books and have asked when we can do it again.









Today we celebrated World Read Aloud day by having wonderful guest readers in our classroom. We loved having you in our classroom and the stories were exceptional!

2nd grade with Mrs. Shields this week took a break from their projects to make some Heart Art. Students learned about muralist James Goldcrown and his heart murals. His "Love Walls" are so popular, Sketchers collaborated with him. One student found his name on her shoes! 💕











3rd grade has had fun designing Valentine's Day bags with Mrs. Shields in art this week!











We had a little 100th day fun in Mrs. Jacquinot's room.










Today we celebrated 100 day of school, as well as Travis and Taylor Tuesday for the Super Bowl spirit week. 87+13=100 (Kelce's jersey # and Taylor's favorite #)
