7th grade math constructs anchor charts around an individual topic. These charts allow students to represent learning in more than one method. Students work in groups to challenge and support each other.

8A played a tough game against Columbus this morning and came away with a WIN before facing St. Marys Colgan at the Columbus Jamboree. 7A is showing improvement and gaining experience every possession.
Students in Mrs. Wells classroom work in small groups to solve real world math situations.
Today the Vikings take on the undefeated Girard Trojans at 7:00 in Girard. The Viking Send Off will start in Parsons at 4:45 from 32nd and Main and travel east down Main Street to 16th. Let's line the streets and show these boys how proud we are of them!
FCA (Fellowship of Christian Anyones) has been meeting weekly. These kids have enjoyed fellowship, friendship, and fun!
Middle School Chess will travel to Cherryvale this Saturday! Good luck to all our Chess players!
Middle School Girls Basketball will play in the Columbus Jamboree Saturday 11/6. 8A will start in the New Gym at 8am followed by 7A at 9am both vs. Columbus.
At 10am, 8A will be in the Round Top Gym vs. SMC, follwed by 7A at 11am also vs. Saint Mary's.
7th grade math students have been working hard. Breaking into small groups allows students to get individualized instruction.
Girls Basketball practice on Friday will end at 4:30 in time to catch the High School Boys Football send-off to Regionals down Main Street.
Middle School Girls Basketball played tonight at Pittsburg. It was great to see the girls on the court in competition this week! Looking forward to an exciting Saturday tournament at Columbus!

Middle School Girls kick off basketball season tonight at Pittsburg Middle School. C Team will play @4 in the New Gym followed by 8A in the New Gym and 7A in the Old Gym. 7A and 8A should start around 5pm.
MS Lady Vikes will be playing in the Columbus Jamboree on Saturday morning starting at 8am. Please see attached schedule for the day.
Middle School Girls will kick off their season Thursday at Pittsburg.
4pm - Combo/B team in the New Gym
5pm - 7A in the Old Gym and 8A in the New Gym
*7A and 8A WILL be playing at the same time.
