Third graders attended the Labette County Field Day in Oswego.











FYI: If a Tornado Warning is issued for Parsons this evening the storm shelters at Garfield and Guthridge will be open, the storm shelter at Lincoln will not be open. If a trusted neighbor in the Lincoln area is interested in volunteering to open the Lincoln storm shelter during future Tornado Warnings, please contact the district office next week.

3rd grade Arbor Day


Garfield third grade attended the Parsons Arboretum Arbor Day celebration Wednesday. They learned about planting trees, as one was planted in their honor. They heard a mayoral proclamation, visited the education room, went on a scavenger hunt, and learned about fire safety.







NEW LOCATION! The Garfield Elementary concert will now be held at the Parsons Municipal Auditorium. still will be 6:30 pm but is no longer at the park. Thank you so much!

Ms. Moon's second graders enjoyed tech Friday. Mr. Peak printed pieces on the 3D printer to make glow in the dark fidget spinners.







Students in Mr. Medina's class who reached their AR goal for the year enjoyed pizza from Pizza Hut! Thank you Pizza Hut for the support.





Students in Mr. Medina's class enjoyed a day of no desks in the classroom. They also had the opportunity to enjoy the nice weather and read outside.
