Leveling up with their Math Facts in Mrs. Jacquinot's class!
Marcel was very proud to make it to the island on Thursday. He has been working hard to achieve this goal. He asked for a special selfie with his teacher and Abel, who also achieved a goal today by reaching 80 AR points. These kids are rocking it!
They completed their 5 missions yesterday. They all made it to the treasure box for completing them.

Mr. Peak stopped by with Vector the Viking robot dog. The students were excited to see Vector dance and to learn that a short dance took 1000 lines of code. It is exciting for the students to see what cool things they can learn about as they continue their educational career.

These students leveled up this week. Three hit AR milestones. Abel and LaMichael hit their 75 point milestones and Allayna hit 175 points. Travis made it to Study Island by completing all of the second grade math topics. Way to go!

Waun's Class Lemonade War!The class broke up into 4 groups. Each group had a leader, mathematician, designer, and secretary. As a group they had to include the location, budget, price per cup, where the profit would go, create jobs for each student, and design posters.

In Mrs. Shields' art class, 2nd graders recently learned about how fossils are formed and then created their own fossil art! Using a pastel resist technique, students watched their fossils appear as they painted them w/ brown watercolor (representing buried fossils in the dirt).
