For the past two weeks we have been talking about the sky and what we see at night versus what we see during the day. We talked about the eight phases of the moon and today we incorporated science to our Wonders reading time. This project was both fun and delicious!

Had a fun and yummy science lesson in Ms. Perez's class today! We reviewed the eight different phases of the moon with Oreos. A big thank you to Mrs. Martin and Mrs. Jacquinot for being our guest volunteers!

The kids, Mrs. Strode's, that are where they need to be in AR to reach their goals by the end of April received an ice cream treat from me today.

Ms. Perez's class used their classroom globe to learn all about what it takes to create night and day!

On Friday we learned what makes snow appear white. To tie in a math concept we talked about lines of symmetry. Students used geo boards and bands to create their own snowflakes and other designs with lines of symmetry. This was a fun and creative activity!
