World Read Aloud Day was such a success. The students loved listening to the fantastic stories that these readers presented. The class loved all of the books and have asked when we can do it again.

Correction for music concert. I apparently forgot to change the date on the invitation! The concert is April 25th, not April 23rd. Apologies for the mistake! Please mark your calendars with this date instead!

2nd grade with Mrs. Shields this week took a break from their projects to make some Heart Art. Students learned about muralist James Goldcrown and his heart murals. His "Love Walls" are so popular, Sketchers collaborated with him. One student found his name on her shoes! 💕

Today is the 100th day of school! With this week being the week before the big game, Chiefs gear won out over 100 year old 8 year olds. To celebrate 100 you can add Kelce's # 87 with Taylor's favorite # 13 to get 100! 100 days with my awesome class!
