We had a surprise visitor today. Miss Zoey got to show off her new baby sister that is 9 days old.
This class loves to create using STEM bins. For Christmas the class got some new STEM bin goodies including a fun math game and more magnetic tiles. They also got some pieces to add to sets that we already have because those sets are so loved.
This week we finished our math chapter over geometry. Students had a fun review lesson today where they found reindeer cards and wrote the name of the shape that the reindeer were made from. It was a perfect movement activity after a morning movie at LCC.
This second grade class got to play a quick game of Heads Up 7 Up with a third grader today. They love when he comes into our classroom. They ask him questions about third grade and he loves answering them. Today was the first time he led them in a game.
Today Ms. Ryan and the boys from Mrs. Waun's class enjoyed lunch together. After we ate, we had to pose for our family pictures. As you can see, it was just like any family picture session; a little chaotic, but oh so fun and silly.
Congrats to Carter for earning 100 AR points.
Students learned how to code sphero bots at the Greenbush Science Center. They came up with some really creative codes.

Santa came and we were all on the nice list!!

Mrs. Tierney's class was so excited to see Santa! They are all on the nice list, even Mrs. Tierney! Santa gave us some new STEM bin kits for Christmas.
Ms. Ryan and the girls from Mrs. Waun's class enjoy another fun filled lunch together. Of course we had to be a little silly after we finished our food.

After completing their counseling lesson with Ms. Ryan, the students in Mrs. Collins' class made holiday cards for their friends.
It may be just days until break but these Vikings are still working hard and crushing goals! Blaise hit 30 points to meet the challenge of 30 before Christmas. LaMichael and Jeffrey hit their second grade yearly goal of 50 points today and Allayna hit 100 points! Way to go!
