Trash bag orders with payment are due on Tuesday, February 21st. Trash bags will be available for pickup at parent/teacher conferences on March 7th and March 8th at the Elementary buildings.
There will be no school on Monday, February 20th for Presidents' Day!

During National School Counselors' Week, Ms. Ryan promoted the counseling department by providing treats for the staff. Zah'Mia helped Ms. Ryan deliver the treats to staff.
Today, Valentine's Day, Garfield Elementary set a record - we had only 2 students absent.

The Sunshine Committee hosted an NFL challenge!!
Mrs.Waun awarded Mrs.Tierney with the NFL Spirit Award. The student's at Garfield voted this morning for the most team spirited staff member!!
Today Team Tierney did some team bonding exercises that included creating their own board games. The students worked together on their rough draft, or 'sloppy copy'. Once these are fine tuned they will creat the final copy and play their games!
Cold days mean indoor recess. In Mrs. Tierney's class you never know what students will find to do at recess!
