Each year Garfield Elementary has collected canned goods and paper items to be donated to the Labette Assistance Center here in Parsons. We will be doing that again this year beginning December 1 through December 16. There will be a tree in the 2nd grade hallway where the items can be placed or taken to the office. Our goal is to collect one item from each student. Let's meet and exceed that goal. Thank you.
I have never seen a boy who loves fishing more than this young fellow!

I’m thankful for my class.
Students worked hard creating bar graphs from a skittles sample. They wrote their own questions to quiz their peers with. Way to work hard third graders!
Something nice is coming soon!
